At Volumental, we’re passionate about creating a great shopping experience and helping people find the best products for them (both fit and style) - starting with shoes. To do that we 3D scan people’s feet and use AI to find or create shoes that fit you perfectly. This data also helps our customers, mainly world leading brands, to develop better products. Volumental’s 3D technology is currently live in 800 stores in 35 countries.
We’re in a strong growth phase. In two short years, since we rolled out our first scanner in 2016, we now help thousands of people every day find shoes that fit. Our solution is a crucial part of making footwear retail more efficient, personalized and sustainable. We do this by utilizing our beautifully designed high tech software and hardware, at present unparalleled in the global retail industry.

What will you do?
Be the link between Volumental and our partners. Set up and administer partnerships with distributors/partner channels. This includes strategizing and executing business model development, communication processes and knowledge sharing as well as acting as the main contact with our distributors and strategic partners.
Grow Volumental in new markets. As a scaling startup with limited resources we lack the local or industry specific knowledge required to tap into some of the markets with an expressed interest in our solution. You will explore ways of tapping into these markets in the short and medium term and evaluate which geographies have the potential to warrant a local presence in the next 18 months.
Nurture and grow our business with potential key clients. Develop strategies to win accounts that could more than double our business. Build relationships with relevant stakeholders, analyze their strategic priorities and explore new avenues for turning early discussions into qualified business opportunities.
We are excited about you because:
You are a collaborative team member with low prestige, willing to jump in where needed.
You have worked in or with large, multinational corporations. Ideally you have experience working on global strategic partnerships. Experience developing or supporting distributors is highly meriting, especially in Asian markets.
You are easy to talk to. This role will require cross-cultural communication with stakeholders throughout large organizations.
You are an analytical strategic thinker and enjoy analyzing market data, developing and testing hypotheses for solving difficult problems. You are also skilled at running projects with many stakeholders.
You are tech-savvy – you do not need to have a PhD in Robotics or AI (we have five of those already) but you will be learning to sell a highly technical product and a technical background is a huge plus.
You are willing to travel. We work with customers around the world and this role will require travel to attend customer meetings and conferences.
