Accounting Manager

Amuse, Stockholm, Sweden

Named one of Europe's 100 hottest startups 2018 by Wired!

Amuse is the world’s first mobile record label, working in the intersection between music and technology. Through our web and mobile apps, we open up for independent artists to distribute their music to all the world's leading music stores, for free and receiving 100% of the royalties we collect for them. We then sift through vast amounts of listening data coming back from the music stores to identify tracks that look promising and then we license those tracks. And that’s how we make money.

We are now looking for an Accounting Manager with a hands-on Accountant approach, to operate, track and evaluate day-to-day activities within the finance department. The role includes managing all financial transactions, from payments and salaries to reconciliations, extracting reports and calculating and managing tax payments and returns. It also includes that you are eager to join the team that will further develop and tailor the accounting processes.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with book keeping in Swedish global businesses and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes with an analytical approach. You will primarily work with the Swedish AB but there are also a few foreign subsidiaries and partnership companies, even if there is not yet a need for international consolidated accounts and consolidated annual reports.

You will work closely with our finance team at the Stockholm HQ on Kungsholmen and report to the Director of finance.
